| WOW! I can’t even believe that cover is real or this whole writing adventure I call life is real. Over a year ago, in May 2020, during the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic, I started writing a brand new book and within a few months the core of the story was complete. From day one, it has always been called Maxton. The more I wrote, the more I fell in love with him. He’s human. He’s not perfect. He makes a lot of mistakes. Much like us. And today, you get to be the first to see the official cover AND the only one to read a scene from the book (slightly edited to keep some mystery) before it is released! Writing a book is one thing. Letting others read it is scary. Getting feedback is like opening the closet to find Michael Myers staring back at you with a knife. TERRIFYING. Like Maxton, I might not be perfect, and this book might not be perfect, but it’s the beginning and the first in line of many more original books to come.
