Twice a year an event comes along that makes me even more of a GEEK than any other day … I think.
Tomorrow starting at 6am I’m joining the book blogging (and reading) world in Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon. BUT, this year it’s even more important to me.
For the Spring 2014 Read-a-Thon, I’m going to read for the National MS Society!
Here’s the scoop and how you can help – donate to the CBH MS Rockstars based on any of the following criteria:
- Donate per page read
- Donate per book read
- Donate per hour read
- Donate for all of the above
- Just DONATE
For a quick reference point, last year in the fall I didn’t do so well but read for about 8 hours, around 700 pages, and finished 4 books.
My goals this year:
- Read for 20-24 hours (stay away for 24 hours)
- Finish lucky number 7 books (no picture books, but young adult/Nancy Drew/Boxcar Children acceptable)
- Read at least 1,000 pages
So … what do you say? Who wants to help me raise money for the National MS Society?!?
