Welcome to New York!

Here we are. Day 1 and already it’s been eventful. It only took most of the day to arrive with a 4am wake up call.

And we are off! Here’s the low down on all the new firsts:

:: La Guardia – last time I flew into Newark so this was fun
:: Long Island – now I know that the airport isn’t really in Manhattan
:: It rains in NYC in May
:: The Mean Fiddler and its awesome and very cute Irish bartender, Bernard, was out first happy hour
:: First official Broadway Play – Macbeth with Alan Cummings (the Good Wife) at the Ethel Barrymore Theater – think Eqyptian but smaller, built in 1928

Now it’s wine planning time. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, church and a tour of the city.
