Bookjourney over at One Persons Journey through a world of books is now hosting this event.
I got a lot of reading done over the week and hope that this will make my February numbers improve. Compared to January, this month seems to be very slow (but I guess I loose a couple days so that’s fair).
Read Last Week:
- Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates
- The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
- Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich
Reading This Week:
- You Suck by Christopher Moore
- Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
- Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
oh yes! Anna Karenina…another one of my all-time favorites. When people tell me they don’t want to invest the time, I tell them that once you’re into it, you’re hooked and the time just flies. Enjoy it.
You have read or are reading a few of my favourites (and I have a lot of favourites). The Hobbit I loved the first time I read it and enjoyed it even more the second time. Now I am reduced to watching the Lord of the Ring Trilogy on DVD, but truly enjoy those too. The filmmaking blows me away every time.
Have a great reading week!
Great list! Enjoy!
Are you enjoying the Evanovich books? I read them up to book Twelve. She got a little too much for me at that point but I have girls in our book club that are still reading them as fast as she can publish them!
I will be interested in your review of Anna Karenina. Have a super week!
