This challenge is hosted by The Curious Reader and involves the local library in your town.
- What is the name of your local library? What city is it located in?
Boise Public Library, located in Boise, ID - How often do you go to the library? If you’re a regular, do the staff know you?
I usually make it at least once a week, sometimes more. I don’t think the people there no me yet. I still feel new and I know my way around enough that I haven’t talked to many of the workers. - Do you browse while you’re there or just pick up items you have placed on reserve?
For the most part I go to pick up reserved books, but usually since I know I’ll be there I have running list of books I’m interested in and will search around and see if they’re available, occasionally just browsing the shelves well. - What is your favorite thing about your local library?
I love the atmosphere. The only people there are those who love the library and reading. Usually I go in the middle of the day so many parents are there with their young kids reading and having fun.
