What led you to pick up this book? It’s on the 1,001 Books list, plus I have wanted to watch the film but wanted to read the book first.
Plot summary: Jonathan travels to Transylvania to stay as a guest with Count Dracula, unaware that he is a vampire and that werewolves lurk in the forests around the castle. With this one meeting, he seals the fates of his friends and loved ones.
What did you think of the writing style? I like how Stoke uses various styles and methods to tell the stories. Most is told through letters or journal entries but through different points of view and not all about the same situation. It’s an interesting and fun way of reading.
Do you recommend this book? If you use a rating system, what’s your rating? Yes, I would recommend it to anyone. I’d also give it 3 stars. 3/5
